Sh. Sa'id Hawwa
This book is divided into an introduction and five parts. The introduction deals with why people are in need of Messengers, the proof of their Prophethood and the signs that prove Muhammad (pbuh) is a Prophet. The first part deals with his matchless attributes and the second part with his miracles; the third part covers his Prophethood, the fourth covers the outcome of the message and the last part covers the glad tidings of Muhammad in the previous faiths.
Both this book and the first book in the series, 'Allah i.e. God', aim at deepening the meaning of shahadatain, 'La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadan Rasul Allah'(There is no god worthy to be worshipped except God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God) in the heart of the believer.
This book attempts to refute allegations and correct misconceptions about Muhammad (pbuh)and includes everything that a Muslim needs to know about the character of the Prophet (pbuh). By knowing this, the Muslim increases his respect for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). God (swt) asked every Muslim to believe in him; and to respect and support him. The Qur'an declares (what means): "Indeed, We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner." (Al-Fath, 48:8)
