Khudary or Khudri dates are cylindrical shaped and soft. They have a uniform dark brown colour to them and are a medium to large size.
They come from Saudi Arabia and have a moderately sweet taste to them. Khudri dates aren’t too wrinkly but the skin does flake a little – giving a textured, chewy but not dry taste.
These dates come with a special addition, Almonds. It is quite common that dates have nuts added to them to give them an extra crunch.
