AHMAD VON DENFEER was born in Germany in 1949. He studied Islamic and Social Anthropology at the University of Mainz. He was at the Islamic Foundation, Leicester as Research Fellow in 1978-1984. He is currently working with the Islamic Centre, Munich, Germany. His other publications include: Der Koran (New translation of The Qur’an in German Language), Literature on Hadith in European of Nawawi’s Forty Hadith, A Day with he Prophet in both English and German; and Islam for children.
