Biography

Yahya al-Gawthani is Syrian scholar who completed his BA from Medina University, MA from Higher Institute for Training Imams and Duat based in Mecca and obtained his PhD in Quranic commentary (tafsir) from Umm Durman University in Sudan. He is a world renowned specialist on the different modes of Quranic recitation (qira'at).
